Antique Vintage Tennis Racket Racquet. This is a Peck & Snyder model Staten Island, named for the Staten Island Cricket and Baseball Club. Stamped into wedge is Peck & Snyder New York. Stamped into top of frame is Staten Island. No other markings on racket. Strings and trebling look to be original with many breaks. Handle has been sanded down, one side more than other, obviously to fit owner's hand size. Sides of handle also  shows remains of diagonal lines which might be from sanding, your call. 27 1/4" long. Solid and straight nice shape for age of racket.
Head = Oval
Handle = Vertical lines one side, sanded down as stated.
Wedge = Solid Convex

Butt cap there but butt strap missing with 2 nails still in handle.
