old early wood wooden racquet; very solid and sturdy; color-coordinated

: Classic period oval; stock is square at the shoulders and gently rounded as it goes around the top of head; expected wear to the top of the head
WARPING

FRAME:
excellent condition retaining almost all of the original soft glow finish with lightly crackled surface
THROAT WEDGE:
concave and laminated in place in the style of the period
STRINGS
: Original blue strings; color-coordinated with the rest of the decoration
BANDING
: Blue celluloid bands overlaid with thread bands; some need a little TLC; one thread band missing on the head; others with minor losses as shown. Possible absent band below the celluloid on the throat.
DECALS
: As shown; excellent and crisp
