    Description

    This is a set of ten buttons marked U.S. L.S.S. (United States Life Saving Service - pre-Coast Guard).  The back of each button says Waterbury Conn. Co. Inc.  Please see the photos. I do not think these are antique.  They are in excellent condition.  I believe this is Waterbury
    Pattern #04663 – USLSS. Each button is approximately 5/16 inches across.  The buttons are
    gold- or brass-colored.  They aren't gold, maybe brass, but I'm not sure of the metal.  They are not magnetic.
