VINTAGE ICONIC FERON'S NYC "POWER BAT" MODEL Tennis Racket Racquet Wood w/Press

This is the third of three Feron's / S. J. Ferons  Antique / Vintage Tennis Rackets I will be putting on eBay today. This one is from the 1960's, I believe, and shows light and limited wear for its age and use. The real good news here is that the Zephyr Press that has been protecting it for all these year has felt like padding where the press meets the racquet, and thus its in relatively good condition. THERE ARE STILL A COUPLE OF ISSUES THOUGH. ONE BAND HAS ISSUES AND ONE IS MISSING, THE BOTTOM END CAP/ CLOTH IS MISSING AND THERE IS SOME LIMITED MARKING/ SCUFFING AS SEEN IN THE PHOTOS. OTHER THAN THOSE ISSUES, THIS RACKET IS IN BEAUTIFUL AND SOLID SHAPE The strings are complete, the racket is very straight and the graphics are terrific! ALL OF THESES RACQUETS WERE CUSTOM MADE FOR THEIR PROUD OWNERS AND YOU CAN SEE THAT AUTHENTICATION IN TWO PLACES AS SEEN IN THE PHOTOS. THIS IS WHAT MAKES STEPHEN J. FERONS THE ICONIC, VENERABLE AND HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE NAME THAT IT IS, AND THIS RACKET IS NO EXCEPTION.
That's a lot to say about condition, and why do I say it? Because I want you to be very satisfied with this new addition to your collection, and to know you made a very informed decision when you did decide to acquire it!
All said, a very handsome racket for the discriminating tennis collector from the iconic Feron's Maker, and a relatively hard one to find with its original Zephyr Press. In my research I did find an article suggesting Zephyr Presses did accompany Feron's Makers Racquets out the door!
