    According to The Collector's Encyclopedia of Hall China by Margaret and Ken Whitmyer, "Silhouette" was made as premiums for the Cook Coffee Company by Hall China of East Liverpool, Ohio and the Taylor, Smith & Taylor Company of Chester, West Virginia.
