    Description

    Antique or Vintage Tennis Racket made by the Dayton Steel Racquet Company of Dayton, Ohio. Carries Dayton's diamond emblem on the wooden handle and has gold lettering on the butt cap. Racket has a patent date of April 17, 1923 and must have made quite the splash when introduced! The head frame is painted matte black. Looks like perhaps original strings. Combed wood handle. Overall length measures about 26.875", wood handle is about portion is 11.25" long, head measures about 9" X 12.75". Pretty neat piece, looks great hanging on the wall or displayed in your showcase of awesome rackets!
